Test Week

Adjust According to what day your test is. Allow for 3-4 days of complete rest. 

Sunday:

  1. Review (5-hours)
  2. Mild work out
  3. Sleep at 11pm

Monday:

  1. Review (3 hours)
  2. Mild work out
  3. Sleep at 11pm

Tuesday:

  1. Relax
  2. Call your test center to find out regulations
  3. Mild work out
  4. Sleep at 11pm

Wednesday:

  1. Relax
  2. Drive to test center to see where it is 
  3. Mild work out
  4. Sleep at 11pm

Thursday:

  1. Relax
  2. Mild work out
  3. Get your food/clothes/earplugs ready
  4. Sleep at 11pm

Friday/Test Day:

Morning of: 

  1. Eat Breakfast
  2. Relax
  3. Mild work out (if you have an afternoon test and if you normally workout in the am)

Right Before Test:

  1. Get to test site at least 45 minutes early
  2. Drive with somebody (friend, mom, dad, sibling) and just talk with them before going in, just not about the MCAT
  3. Relax, you’re ready. It’s just 1 test, you’ve done 8 of these already. 
  4. Ask any questions you may have now, they won’t bite.

During Test:

  1. If you question during the test, move on. 
  2. Relax
  3. Take every break they give you, even if you don’t think you need one (walk around, go get food, go to bathroom, get the blood flowing)
  4. Don’t EVER think about previous sections
  5. Don’t EVER think of voiding until you are done, you’ll have 5 minutes to decide this
